Dental Implants:
Pre-op:

  • Ensure your oral hygiene is top-notch.

Post-op:

  • Use prescribed painkillers as necessary to manage discomfort.
  • Stick to a diet of soft foods and avoid applying pressure on the implant site.
  • Continue your oral hygiene routine but be extra gentle around the implant area.

Dental Crowns and Bridges:
Pre-op:

  • Regular brushing and flossing should be maintained to keep your mouth clean.

Post-op:

  • Stay away from hard or sticky foods that might dislodge your new crown or bridge.
  • Continue with your regular oral hygiene practices.

Teeth Whitening:
Pre-op:

  • Ensure your teeth are clean and flossed thoroughly.
  • Avoid consuming anything that could stain your teeth, like coffee or tobacco.

Post-op:

  • Keep away from foods and drinks that could stain your teeth for at least 48 hours.
  • Continue maintaining good oral hygiene.

Dental Veneers:
Pre-op:

  • Regular brushing and flossing are essential to prepare your teeth for veneers.

Post-op:

  • Avoid biting or chewing hard substances with your veneered teeth.
  • Keep up your regular oral hygiene routine but be gentle when cleaning around the veneers.

Periodontal Surgery:
Pre-op:

  • Maintain excellent oral hygiene.
  • Our dentists may prescribe antibiotics to prevent infection.

Post-op:

  • Rinse your mouth with warm salt water to soothe your gums.
  • Take any prescribed medications as directed.
  • Adhere to a soft foods diet and avoid strenuous activities for a few days.

Scaling & Root Planing:
Pre-op:

  • Maintain oral hygiene to prepare your mouth for the procedure.

Post-op:

  • Do not eat until the anesthesia has completely worn off to avoid accidental biting.
  • Brush and floss gently to clean your teeth.

Bone Grafting:
Pre-op:

  • Maintaining good oral hygiene is crucial.
  • Antibiotics might be prescribed to ward off potential infections.

Post-op:

  • Avoid disturbing the graft site.
  • Maintain a diet of soft foods.
  • Take any prescribed medications and rinse with a prescribed mouthwash or warm salt water to keep the surgical site clean.
